NYT Connections Hints & Answers for Sept 7, 2025, | #819
Looking for help with today’s New York Times Connections puzzle? Here are the hints and solutions for Sept. 7, 2025 (Puzzle #819).
How Connections Works
Connections challenges you to sort 16 words into four groups of four based on hidden categories. The trick is that some words look like they could fit in multiple places, making it easy to trip up before finding the right sets.
Today’s Hints (by group difficulty)
- Yellow group hint: Think Nadia or Olga.
- Green group hint: Cinderella is another one.
- Blue group hint: Like Times New Roman.
- Purple group hint: Think sophomore math.
These should nudge you in the right direction without giving the full groups away.
Today’s Connections Answers (Sept 7, 2025)

- Tiana
Blue group (Fonts):
- Arial

Puzzle Notes
This was a playful one, especially with Ariel and Arial appearing together — a common trap that could mislead you into mixing Disney characters with typefaces. The gymnastics group may also have tripped up players unfamiliar with moves like “arabesque.”
The final purple set, geometry adjectives, is a classic tricky group — “areal” in particular may have felt obscure unless you’ve seen it in math or mapping contexts.
