Apple iPhone 17 Event Confirmed: Sept 9 “Dropping” Keynote

Apple has officially confirmed its fall keynote for September 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, with the tagline “Awe dropping.” The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater, Apple Park, and stream globally via Apple’s site, YouTube, and Apple TV app.

iPhone 17 Lineup: What to Expect

Apple is preparing to reveal four iPhone 17 models:

• iPhone 17 Air – Replacing the Plus, this ultra-thin flagship (5.5mm) brings a 6.6-inch OLED ProMotion display, A19 chip, 12GB RAM, Apple’s first in-house C1 5G modem, and a 2,800mAh high-density silicon battery.

• Apple Watch Series 11 & Ultra 3: New S11 chip, first-ever 5G support, blood pressure monitoring, and AI health coaching.
• AirPods Pro 3: Health-focused upgrades with heart rate monitoring, new H3 chip, better durability, and live translation.
• iOS 26: Featuring the new Liquid Glass UI, translucent elements, dynamic reflections, enhanced widgets, and expanded lock screen customization.

Apple Intelligence & Siri Delays

Apple confirmed that major AI updates for Siri — like contextual awareness and in-app automation — are delayed until 2026. Talks with Google’s Gemini AI could accelerate progress.
